Launching FounderMatch: Lovable x FounderWay Event

On June 5th, we officially launched FounderMatch in NYC alongside our incredible partners at Lovable. The event was full of energy, and watching builders meet potential collaborators in real time was truly surreal.

The best part about FounderMatch?

Connections don’t end when the event does. We’re here to spark meaningful relationships that last well beyond one night. If people were matched with others they didn’t get a chance to meet, don’t worry — we’ve saved those connections within the event as their top matches, which they can always revisit and connect with in the future.

We teamed up with Lovable.dev to bring NYC Tech Week a new kind of event—one built around connection, not pitching. We did circle time at the end to show Lovable's superpowers.

Here are a few takeaways from the night:

🤝 Matchmaking matters: When builders and collaborators are thoughtfully paired, ideas move faster and partnerships form more naturally.

💬 Connecting over pitching: Creating space for genuine conversations leads to stronger alignment than a cold pitch ever could.

🚀 Shared energy fuels momentum: When people show up with curiosity and openness, collaboration happens organically—and quickly.

We had an amazing time hosting a successful event during #NYTechWeek with the incredible team at The Front Yard at Pace University

Big thank you to Lovable for sponsoring the event and providing the food and drinks!
